Got some news and some screenshots for you eyeballs.

First, 343 is celebrating Halo Reach's 1st Birthday today. [A year!? I know right..?]
It's turning out to be one heck of a party.[And by party I mean, we don't bring gifts to the birthday boy, the birthday boy gives all his guest schtuff. like said, my kind of party.] along with the celebrations, the guest were flooding in like... well the Flood... and were rewarded with shiny new gift baskets. One gift in particular; was a wave of HALO Combat Evolved Anniversary screenshots.

-Sleep well?
"No thanks to your driving, yes"
-So you did miss me.

[You can clickity clack on that photo to see a party size version.]

Next up on the chopping block, is a walkabout around some familiar streets. [Familiar if you played any HALO-2's Multiplayer at all.] You may/or/may not remember the map by name along, which is "Headlong", but it was a great, medium sized, map. You got to enjoy a taste of downtown humanity on this particular map, and now you'll get to enjoy a spruced up version with a layout tweak here or there.
It's name has also changed, what wants was "Headlong" is now, "Breakneck" and I do believe the new name is a fitting to this map as the original.

[For those of you whom may require visual stimulation to recall Headlong, I give you, Breakneck.]

On a side note. 343 has mentioned they will be releasing a "Beta-Playlist" in Reach matchmaking, where we'll get to test some of their updates to the Action-FPS before they make it official. That'll give 343 time to test the water before they dive in. Lest sharks [The fans] lie in wait; ready to feast upon those who dare to tread their water.
[However I have faith, this should be a blast. ;) ]

Later!
