A Holiday Gift to You.

My gift to you is all the opening videos to Star Wars: The Old Republic by BioWare.

Watch these, and let me just tell you now. [Just like me] You'll want this to be a movie, and forget the most recently made ones. 'Cause this is what we want.

[I told you! Don't you want this to be a full length movie?]

X-Christmas-Play

2011 was a big year for video games. The amount of top-tier titles made it look like our wallets suffered from bulimia nervosa. Money goes in, the immediately right back out. So there's something X-Play does which is kinda awesome. So I'm gonna show it to you. Below is X-Play's Mega trailer, jam packed with all the awesome from this year. Trust me, you'll like it.

Merry Christmas!

Battlefield Freddie, on the Tube!

[Yay! This guy again!]

Well, Freddie's back on TV again. You may have seen him recently on an episode of Chuck [which was awesome btw] and now you'll see him in-between your show, during a sweet little commercial EA hired him for; enjoy!

Blast from the Past.

[Yup, "wow this game!" is exactly what I said.]

There it is. Mad Dog McCree, a classic, even legendary old shooting game. Nobody did it like that before and no one has done it like that since. The reason why I'm talking about it is because it just hit the iPhone and iPads. It only costs $4.99, and you get pure classic gunslinger at the tip of your touchscreen. [Here's hoping it makes it to Android devices soon!]

Dusty DropSuits on 514

[It's about time we got some Dust news again.]

The PlayStation Blog is our friend today. CCP the developers of Dust 514 dropped some sweet, fresh news. Above, you see the picture of the kick'n new Sci/fi combat duds. Suits like these are what you'll be wearing in the MMOFPS Dust 514 that lives and breathes in the EVE Online universe. Each of these Dropsuits will have options like Power Grids, Slots, and on-board CPU. The slots will offer categories like {- Light - Heavy - Sidearm - High - Low - Equipment - Grenade -} This is some serious kit, and it's looking awesome. I wanna flood my post with gooey details. I wanna reveal so many of it's secrets it'd make a sailor blush, but. I wont. Why, you ask? ['cause this is a family friendly blog!] No...that's not it. It's because I'd rather let the creators explain. They do it with the love and care and experience that comes from making the game. So follow the link. PlayStation Blog and get your fill.

1 Reason To By the PlayStation Vita.

[And you're looking at that reason.]

I'm not being payed to promote the PlayStation Vita. I'm not getting a thing. [Sadly] No I'm promoting the Vita because, if you like quality games, and I mean graphics, gameplay, story, cenimatics, characters, original score, and Nolan North. Then Uncharted: Golden Abyss, and the PS Vita is the device & game for you.

Don't belive me? Or just not sure? Watch the video below, and as far as a hand-held device goes. Prepare to have your mind and expectations blown. [You're Welcome.]

[Seriously, just awesome stuff.]

[Anybody Got Some Deet?]

During the VGA's a world premier hit. What was impressive was, how far along the game was, how nice it felt, how intense the story was, and that it was a Naught Dog title! A title they've apparently been working on for over 2 years! Two years in the making and we're just now hearing about this? [Yeah, now that's how you keep a secret] Watch the trailer, enjoy. It's good. Should prove fun, especially as more details come forth.

[It's got a kind of I Am Legend feel doesn't it?]

Mass Effected VGA's

["Hi, I'm Commander Shepperd, and this is my favorite blog on the Citadel."]

The VGA's was Saturday and as expected, it was awesome. The host this year was Zachary Levi was the host. [He was hilarious.] As predicted and promoted, there were a few world premiers, some new trailers for up and coming games a much more. I'll make a couple more post about it throughout the week; but to start us off. It's Mass Effect time. Just below is one of the coolest trailers of the night and one of The Most Anticipated Game of the Year award winner. Mass Effect 3 pure awesome in your console.Enjoy this sweet trailer, and if you like Thresher Maw on Reaper action, then this video is perfect for you

[(In regards to the Reapers existence) "Somehow, I told you so, just doesn't quite cut it."]

Personally, when I play ME3. I Want the ability to tell of the Council, and I want to rub it in their faces. So they're not real huh? Looks pretty damn real to me! [Oh, and by-the-way. I **** told you so.] What can I say. I'd gladly take all the Renegade Points that little dialogue choice would give me, just to dig my spurs into them for running my name through the dirt in the past two games.

ATLAS, or the Assisted Tactical Assault System is the coolest app about to be on your phone. [If you're a HALO fan anyway. If you're not.....why are you here again? Oh! 'Cause of the other stuff I talk about... Right, no that's cool, you can stay. Wanna snack? No? Okay, well let me get back to this.] The ATLAS is you're best bud, it's your in the field TAC (Tactical Assault Computer) [Man acronym central! (Or MAC) *Snicker*]

[You can Craft Mines on your phone!]

If having MineCraft  in your pocket sounded awesome before, prepare for it to be awesome-er!
Right now on the pocket edition, you can create 'till your hearts content; but, no crafting, mobs or animals and you can't mine for inventory. [Not very MineCrafty I know]
Don't fear though, Mojang [The game's creators] knows of these shortcomings and even though there isn't a release date yet, there will be improvements. Improvements like, Mobs and Animals, Crafting, Inventory, and Item System and much more. So if you haven't bought a copy for your mobile device and aren't sure if you want to? Don't be too hasty, soon you may have awesome in your pocket just like you dreamed.

And it Comes Roll'n Out

[Go Shoot Something. I Know You Want Too]

As of today, the Battlefield 3 DLC Back to Karkand is now out for everyone on the PlayStation. (Next week for the folks on the Xbox)

Secondly, the new Xbox Dashboard is live! [See Picture Below]

[Man, shnazzy new digs]

Yup, the long awaited update has come, but it was a shaky release. The new dashboard was supposed to hit early this morning... [There was even a press release ya'll] but a delay hit, and even the boys at the press release didn't know! Well Microsoft jumped on it and sent out the alert. They said it'd be taken care of and the update would hit soon. Turns out, "Soon" was tonight and it's rolling out. The weird part is it's being shoveled out in "bunches" right now. So if you were gaming and forced offline so you could update. [That's why, you were one of the lucky "bunches" to get the overhaul before it became a widely available update.]

Well now that the weirdness is [hopefully] over; treat your Xbox to a facelift and enjoy all the new features!

Have Yourself a Merry Little Go Kart.

[I Haz Blue Turtle...]

Nintendo recently commissioned West Coast Customs to create two real life Mario Kart Go Karts. One of Mario's and one of Luigi's. So I wondered other that publicity, why make them? Well now we know. Nintendo created them to be awesome contest prizes! If you shop at GameStop and you're a Power Up Rewards member. If eligible,  all you have to do is by/trade a game sometime this December and you're entered! [Bam, it's that simple!]

So, you know. Go buy something, get entered. Then go find your self a turtle and start throwing it at people when you drive by! [Best part is you're already moving pretty fast, I doubt they'll catch you...]

Mass Effect 3 Has Pulse, and You Can Watch it!

[They're come'n to get'cha.]

BioWare has an internal video diary that keeps all their fans up to date on all their on goings.
They call it the "Pulse." As you'd expect the Pulse spends it's time talking about Mass Effect.
I've posted two video's below, one will go over the Collectors Edition of Mass Effect 3 with a few bonuses, the second will reveal how and where they came up with one of the series most iconic sounds.

Now just a friendly heads-up, the videos below, and contents therein, are awesome; however the hosts may feel a bit dry. So grab some BBQ Sauce [Or you're favorite sauce] to freshen up the experience and enjoy.  [Oh and it's BYOB if you're thirsty.]

[Anyone else getting excited?]

[Yup, I'm geeking out about it man!]

If you're interested in seeing more of the pulse; you can find here BioWare TV or at BioWare Mass Effect on YouTube.

Today is a time to sit back. Take a deep breath, enjoy the little things in life. Like an Epic Fail that turns out to be pretty damn hilarious. [Also Funny! Yeah, that too.] So below it a collection of humor from the Epic Fails of GTA-IV.
