Aquizition, Paintings, Reach

Yay Awesome Paintings!
So today I picked up a replica of one of Edward Hopper's paintings.

<----[This one Genius!]

It's a classic painting and one of the very short list of paintings that I always likes. Yay classy!
Captain Old Spice would be proud!

As for Acquisition at the header.... c'mon it's a fancy word and it catches your eye like Mr. Miyagi catches flies with chopsticks. Yeah... like that! Besides I'm talking about the acquisition of a spiffy paint'n.

Lastly, 'cause this is my blog and I likes me some HALO, and I know a few of the readers do too. I thought I'd take a moment to reminded you that you only have to wait 13 more days. That's right, 13, not 14 or 53, but 13. and by the time I post this post... it'll be 13 days 4 hours. Woot!

To further this X-Play is awesome, so awesome they got an interview with Marcus Lehto with Bungie. It's frigg'n sweet, go see!

(Keep in mind these are only 4 Minutes in length for each part.)

Today's go'n pretty good so far, but wait. There's more! For only $19.95 you can buy some crap on TV, or! For free you can keep reading my post! Now, isn't that a better deal? What did we learn?

GTTV (Game Trailers TV) is a show on Spike, it airs every Friday and premiers new games and so on. Last Friday they spent an entire show dedicated to HALO: Reach.

[McLinky! ---->] http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/102?sd=0&ch=1
Totally worth a watch. Also it goes behind the scenes with the Live Action Shorts Microsoft has been producing to hype up the game in time for the September 14th release date.

If by some chance you missed it, the last Live Action short airs September 10th and it's the full cut. The short cut was relased for the net. Here it is! "Deliver Hope"
START DELIVERING!!!!!!!

And that concludes the broadcast day. Thank you. G'night! (National Anthem Plays)

Adding Your Light.

I was on http://www.xbox.com/en-US/default.htm
A few days ago and saw this. It's pretty Awesome.

It depicts Noble Team in a fashion like a monument to their efforts. Except this monument is Stars. NOW that's a showing respect! Each constellation has a little bit of information about each of the five members you play beside in HALO Reach.

It also has a set of live action videos that Bungie and Microsoft produced. It's top notch and full of emotion and character. Totally worth a peek, maybe you could add your light!
They really pulled out all the stops for the ad campaign here. Let's face it when your Juggernaut title, that made your console the powerhouse it is today, is about to breakout another big hit to the series, you don't spare the expense.

As an example, after you follow the link I have below you'll see one thing in particular that Microsoft bought just for the release of HALO: Reach. Ever heard of a Kuka Articulating Arm? If you haven't that's cool, I didn't know what it was called either. If you watch TV then you've probably seen one in a car commercial. It's one of the dozens of high tech, expensive arms that make cars on the assembly line.

Here, go haz a look.http://www.kuka.com/

So Microsoft goes and buys one of these, then sets up in some warehouse and props a computer and a camera up in front of it. Thin this articulating arm moves about with a small LED and builds the constellation used in rememberreach.com. <------ That's the link by the way.

Go check it out, it's totally worth it!

Boy is Busy!

Will Smith is a guy whose acted in a lot of movies I enjoy, and he's done a few sequels.
But has anyone seen what he's got slated to do now? IMDB is a great way to get a heads up on movies, and Willy. Is a busy busy boy.

Have a look at the sequels that stand out. Now Currently they're listed under the imdbPro.

Independence Day III (HOW?!?! The 4th of July is starting to suck for these people. SO MANY ALIENS!)

Independence Day II (But, I thought we beat the Aliens? Maybe we're going to put boot to interstellar ass on their home world?)

I, Robot II (Oooh, Spiffy)

Hancock II (Personally I didn't really enjoy Hancock, but it did well in the Box Office)

Bad Boys III (Them be some serious Bad Boys, what are they going to break next?)

Men in Black III (I liked MIB, and MIB 2 was OK. I'm iffy about this. We shall see.)

You got a taste of my opinion here, what's yours?

Star Date 2604....... uh... point 2!

Being an Author means many stories pop into my head and most of them I file away as a good memory. Very few do I label as "Potential Novel." Currently I have seven or eight Novels queued up for writing and that doesn't count the four additional books already set up to continue my current series "ROAM." SO MANY BOOKS! *Freaks out a little*

-ahem... >.>

Seeing as how I have a new option and thus more, no delema, I shall use this here Bloggity. HOW?! You ask?
Elementary my dear Watson.
I'll post short stories chapter by chapter up here. (If I actual decide or come up with a good set of short stories to publish up here.) Can anyone say Awesome, and Colonel.... but not in that order and ya'know it's together, I want to make it clear that it's together like the two words in a sentence all by themselves and it's, you know a title 'n stuff. Yeah... Moving on!

What would you say to the occasional short story posted up in here? Yay! or Nay!
(If you say Nay, I shall be force to administer smackings. You have been warned.)
I can post here with random ideas blah blah blah you get the picture. Of course I'll make sure to continue making posts about the good schtuff, like Video Games and Movies! YAY!!!!!

*Someone from behind Fox* "Did you say Video Games and Movies! ZOMG!!!!!" *Then their head 'asplodes with excitement*

An Article of interest.

If you're reading this and a particular fan of video games; more importantly a fan of the HALO series then this might be something you want to see.

Ever wonder when playing HALO 3 why you're "Skill" was a 39 out of 50 and no matter how hard you try you can't seem to get your number higher? Or maybe it fluctuates between 37 - 45. (I know that's a rather big number difference but work with me here.)
Then the answer you've been looking for has been released by the writers at "Popular Mechanics."

http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/digital/gaming/halo-reach-preview-1955640?click=pm_news

[Read it!]

They tell you clear as day, the super power "True Skill" system did it's job, you just didn't know what it's job was. True Skill, tuned as it was for HALO 3 was able to properly label you in a skill list, in at least Ten Games. That means your Skill number on HALO 3 was fluff, a lazy, poor example of what True Skill was measuring, you're True Skill!

The only players who want to know their skill are those whom are really good at the game.
I'm beginning to repeat the article, you should read it, it's enlightening and entertaining.

As a final word I leave this post with this. "HALO IS CRAZY SAUSAGE AWESOME! Pssshhh, I love it!" ;)

I Can Haz My Own Page?!

That's right, I got my own page here where I can post random thoughts, the answer to the universe. (Which is 42 btw.)

"Fox's Den"
I haz den! ~It's not my Italian sports car but it's much roomier!

Here I'll post those short stories, or funny scenes that pop into my head, make announcements about my novels and when they'll be for sale on store shelves! WON'T it be fun? I could even post Concept Art/ Fan Art and so on.

Anything Media related, be that Video Games or Movies that interests me I'll post here.
Are you excited? I'm excited! Quick, call a friend so they can be excited too!

*Gasps* My Den had a fireplace! *Pulls up a large brown leather chair, dawns a robe, grabs a pipe and puffs at it in a highly sophisticated manner.* "Cheerio old boys, until my next post and all that."
