Borderlands 2 Get's a Real Trailer.

[Finally right?]

Yeah so... last year, there was a teaser trailer for this game; and finally we get a real trailer. What you'll learn is the identity of the four playable characters, [Axton, it totally the coolest btw.]  you'll see a whole lot of old and new characters. [Also, you'll uh... you'll notice one, one seriously fat chick. I mean... she's huge! You'll go, "WHOA!" when you see here. I bet when she walks the planet shifts on its axis...]

Other than that, there is only one part about the video I didn't really enjoy. This could be just me but... the music was seriously lacking. I didn't care for this repetitive dubstep. No, not all dubstep is bad, I just don't like this one. So, yeah. Enjoy!

Just so you know. I wish they'd've stuck with the jam they used in the teaser.

[Much better]

That trailer was awesome, but that dubstep song... ugh. [OK, I'm done.]

Extended Cut!

[The Mass Effect you love, just longer.]

If you came up with a joke for what I said above.... Keep it to yourself.

Ok, so as promised. Below is the ME3 extended trailer I told you about. [Now with one whole minute more of awesome!]

[Oh... You incinerated the wrong house a-hole... the wrong house.]

So aside from Shepard's country home finding a surprising end in the photo above; another surprise hit the web. I knew it was coming, so that wasn't the surprise. The surprise how amazing it would be and look! I'm not gonna ramble, watch, you'll understand.

[Anybody else want a feature film? Anybody?]

Yup, mind sufficiently blown.
The good news is that, as the video suggest, there will be an extended version tomorrow. I shall do my best to uploaded it for you viewing pleasure.

In the Future, Ghost Work as a Team.

[I always get so excited when something about Ghost Recon pops up!]

Ghost Recon is a top spot property for me because of it's emphasis on team work. A solid group of guys who work so efficiently together that when the odds are against them they still find time to kick everybodies butt equally. [Everybody gets a turn.] But honestly it's that well oiled machine feel you get when everybody moves toward the same goal, with a ruthless efficiency that just gives you chills. Ghost Recon: Future Solider wants to give you a chance to feel it in both multiplayer and in the campaign. They've been hard a work on their A.I. and their mechanics. All of the physical animation was mo-capped by retired SEALs! So you know that when you're avatar looked totally badass catching that dude after you shot him, it was an actual SEAL, actually catching some dude. I don't know why exactly, but that increases the awesome factor exponentially. [That may just be me, and if it is. Ya'll should stop using your opinions, mine is obviously better. See? Look how much fun I'm having with my opinion.]

Below is a pretty sweet video of the new Ghost Recon and it's a blast [no pun intended] to watch.

October is the new "Creed".

[Wait, you're serious? Already?]

Yup, already. Ubisoft comes into the year swinging for a full blown knockout. They're saying that on Oct 30th this year Assassin's Creed 3 will steathfully land on our consoles and MDK a whole heck of a lot of people. I honestly expected there'd be a longer period between releases now that the Ezio's story arc concluded with Revelations. [Boy howdy was I wrong.] No, turns out that Ubi has been digging in and building up this game for three years! [Yeah, while you were playing Brotherhood and Revelations they were hard a work on something beyond. If this turns out to be a great leap in story, gameplay, and graphics like they claim; then Assassin's Creed 3 will be a contender for game of the year.

It's all up in the air though and October is a while out yet. So I'm gonna play it by ear and remember that none of this is set in stone. This is just how the picture looks now. Here's hope'n.

Police Warfare?

[Say what now?]

OK, first off, let me say that Call of Duty: Police Warfare isn't real. It's a fan made concept, with a beyond exceptional [fiction, fake, not real] trailer for their awesome idea. Basically they wanted to play up the desire for a new direction for the C.O.D. franchise with a completely unsuspected twist. What they were going for was that mixture between, crazy outlandish Cop Vs. Robbers TV combat, and the real life event feel. Watch the trailer below, it's actually kinda badass.... the only issue though, Police Warfare....really? I dunno; just doesn't fit. Everything else is pretty friggin sweet.

Just think. In no time at all you'll be enjoying the Adrenaline Pumping Action of Mass Effect 3; just like in the video below.

Good Golly Ms. Molly! Look at 'dem Graphics!

GTA IV came out in '08 and, because of the quality of the game itself and the amount of fun we all have either watching or playing it, it still finds room to improve. Some of the most dedicated fans put blood, sweat, and tears into their modifications and make something over five years old look like something that just rolled of the shelves; complete with that "New Car Smell".

The video below is, simple, short, and overflowing with graphical excellence.

[I can haz?]

Computer, Integrate a Telling of the Story.

[COMPUTER: Yes Commander, activated integrated story telling.]

OK see, the way I said it was so much cooler.
Computer, you're fired.

[ ಠ_ಠ ]

...haha, just kidding, you're fine! Wuv you!

[ (^_^) ]

Somebody call a Nerd Herder.... now!

Mass Effect 3 comes on March 6th. Every day it seams I get a chance to bring it up here and show off some new video, new story idea, deal, whatever. This game is getting some Grade-A promotion; and here comes more. The latest, and last, in the Shepard trilogy is now beefing up one of the biggest mechanics of the series. Conversation. In both previous titles you interrogate, shoot the breeze, threaten, tease, haggle, debate, the works. It's the other piece to the puzzle; aside from the RPG like and character development,  the exploration, and the kick-ass 3rd person shooter elements you enjoy.

Integrated Story Telling is what they're calling it. Basically they're trying to put you in the hot-seat by giving you instant consequence in certain dialog sequences. They want to give you that gratifying result of calling some alien douche's bluff, by popping him in the nuts, before returning to the "conversation". Or they might even stick you with "Instant Karma" if you happen to be the douche.
So see a sweat visual explanation by watching the video below!

[We're almost there folks... then I'll have to find something else to talk about. :p ]

Rumor Wagon, Don't You Lie to Me!

[If this turns out to be false, a few people are gonna have accidents]

Well, this is probably the best rumor I've heard since someone first said multiplayer and Mass Effect in the same sentence more than a year ago. This new rumor is about something many, many gamers have wanted to have happen since it's predecessor hit the original Xbox.

That my friends is, Battlefront 3, one of the greatest Star Wars games in existence. That's my humble opinion of course, but on the bright side, you agree with me. [Remember, accidents.]
As I was saying the rumor is that developer Spark Unlimited is green lit to finally make this unfinished games as studio after studio has dropped and/or lost it. I'll send you over to Joystiq to see their post on it. They also show the information that led to this glorious speculation. A speculation that keeps one little dream alive with a spark of hope. Just remember, one day. this...

I've Seen this Before. I Know it.

Fans often find uses and outlets for their games.  A method of entertainment that wasn't the initial idea the developer had in mind when they originally made their game. You see, sometimes fan try to bridge the gap between two universes that don't quit get along. Sometimes these actions 'cause an intergalactic error as the two fictions collide. Sometime it's recorded on film so you can see it happening, as it happens.

Sometimes my readers click this Link  to see just what it is I'm going on about.

You'll see what happens when someone inside the Star Wars universe starts talking about that one crazy episode of Star Trek: TNG.

[I wonder if this view is prettier, upside down.]

On January 29th, just around this here corner. Microsoft Flight touches down [Eh? Get it? 'Cause it's about air plane....aww, never mind...] for free on your PC. [I'm not even going to bother point that on out either.]

You'll be able to download the title from their official page and other places, eventually I'm sure.
DLC for both maps and different model planes will be released in stages and for different amounts of money; but hey it's new content. The question is the price, is it worth the product you purchase? Only time will tell. See you in the sky.

The Reapers are Coming. Time to Answer the Call.

[I'll take the Reaper on the left.]

*UPDATE*
It seams I was wrong, the demo doesn't release until the 14th. Sorry for the confusion.
**

Monday! Today, Feb 6th 2012, the Mass Effect 3 multilayer debut touches down in demo form for the first time. So grab a friend and saddle up. It's game time. If you're not an Xbox Live Gold Member don't sweat it. When you download the demo, good ol' Microsoft will bump you up form Silver to Gold for a short run. [I know, that was really nice of them.]

On a second note, it was recently stated in an interview between GamerZines and associate producer Mike Gamble where Mike said it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep your Mass Effect 3 saved data after you beat the third, and final Mass Effect, centered around the Reapers and Commander Shepard. [Speculate all you want, we all knew that you're hard earned save files weren't just going into the trash bin when the trilogy ended.]

See you out there soldier!

First Names, Now Faces!

[Those Faces are Ridiculous.]

Now on the the serious business of getting a look a the face behind the digital faces and voices of Mass Effect 3. Mind you this doesn't include all of the voice talent, but a fair quantity and even a new ones.
So enjoy and remember, it's just a month away now!
